Tibetan Cultural Society of British Columbia was established in 1981 as non-profit society and with the direction of His Holiness the Dalai Lama to preserve and to promote the Tibetan Culture.

DALAI LAMA TRUST GRADUATE SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM



The Dalai Lama Trust in New York is pleased to announce its second round of graduate scholarship grants for the academic year 2012-2013. Ten exceptional candidates of the Tibetan descent will be selected to receive scholarship awards of up to US$10,000.00.

Past awardees of the program are required to reapply this year.

The purpose of the scholarship program is to further the human capital development of the Tibetan people by supporting the pursuit of excellence among Tibetan students in the graduate field of their choice.

In order to apply, applicants must be enrolled fulltime in or already accepted to a graduate degree, post graduate and Phd. program in a university in Europe, Australia and North America and must demonstrate proof of Tibetan Heritage.

The complete application form along with all supporting documents must be reached by mail or emailed (in PDF) on or before May 31, 2012 to the Dalai Lama Trust. Receipt of application will be acknowledged by email. Selected applicants will be contacted for a phone interview. Awards will be announced by July 05, 2012
