You are warmly invited to join us for the 3rd Annual Tibet Fest of Vancouver on August 18, 2012, from 10 AM to 7 PM, at Van Dusen Garden’s Floral Hall. As the largest Tibetan cultural event of the year, the festival brings alive the spirit of the Himalayas with an exciting day of traditional performances and events for the whole family.

This year’s festival proceeds will go to the Tibetan Canadian Resettlement Project, a humanitarian program initiated by His Holiness the Dalai Lama in partnership with the Canadian government. The program will support the resettlement to Canada of 1,000 displaced Tibetans living in dire conditions in the refugee camps of Arunachal Pradesh, India. A portion of the proceeds will also go to the ongoing cultural programming provided by the Tibetan Cultural Society of BC, including language and dance classes for youth of all ages, thus supporting both new and existing Tibetan communities in Canada.
